Answer

This product uses a hexagon socket head cap screw of Strength Classification 12.9 (10.9 for M24 and above) (except for some parts). Each bolt must be properly tightened to ensure the reliability. Use a tool to confirm that there is no looseness. Please pay attention to the following points when tightening the bolts.

1) Use only the supplied bolts.
2) Unless otherwise specified, tighten the bolts to the torque shown in the table below.
3) When tightening multiple bolts, tighten them diagonally in 2 - 3 steps.
4) If any of the bolts are damaged, replace all of them immediately.
5) Apply anti seizure grease to the screws of the bolts to be repeatedly attached and detached, and the bolts M16 or higher.
The recommended grease in Shimadzu: 017-27031-01  Molly paste(Operating temperature (standard): 350ºC or less)
NOTE:
• High strength bolts indicate the tightening torque for steel materials with Strength Classification 12.9 (10.9 for M24 and above) and a mating internal thread with strength equal to or greater than JIS SS 400.
• The Stainless steel bolt indicates the tightening torque when the material of the mating internal thread is Stainless Steel 304 and the Strength Classification A2-70.
