In the event of a problem such as abnormal sound or a burning smell from the loading frame, actuator, control unit, or Hydraulic Power Supply, take the following measures. Take the same measures during a power outage. Before using the instrument again, inspect it and, if necessary, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
Emergency Shutdown Procedure
• EHF-E Series
1. Press the emergency stop switch.
The emergency stop switch is located on the front of the loading frame and the control unit.
2. Turn off the power breaker of the Hydraulic Power Supply.
3. Turn off the power switch of the control unit.
