• "OVER" is displayed in the "range" field of the initial screen.

  Cause: The recorder output has exceeded the scale limit.

  Actions: Press [zero].

 

• "OVER" is displayed in the "balance" field of the initial screen.

  Cause: Optical balance is shifted.

  Actions: Press [bal] to balance the optical system.
    * "OVER" may be displayed when peak of chromatogram is detected.
      This is not a problem. In this case, you need not balance the optical system.
    * Air bubbles may have entered in flow line and the optical balance may be shifted. Purge the flow line and balance the optical system.
