Error Message: System controller failed to communicate with the instrument. After checking the communication environment, turn off the main power and restart.

PDA detector: PDA detector failed to connect to the workstation.
 
«Countermeasure»
Check the communication environment (LAN cables, hub, etc.).
If that does resolve the error, restart both the system controller and the workstation software.
