Alarm Codes
If the testing machine detects an abnormality, it displays the Alarm screen.
While an alarm massage is displayed, the testing machine stops, so operations such as changing the screens are disabled. (The hydraulic-pump motor also stops depending on the alarm displayed.)
After reading the alarm description, take remedial steps and clear the alarm screen.
Please clear the alarm screen by touching the OK key at the alarm screen.
Alarm Codes:
0001: Emargency Switch On, The EMERGENCY STOP switch was pressed.
→Remove the cause of the emergency stop and, after verifying that the problem has been solved, turn clockwise the EMERGENCY STOP switch to release the lock.

0003: Amplifier OverCurrent, The sensor amplifier wiring may have short circuited.
0004: ACC1/2 OverCurrent, ACC1 connector or ACC2 connector wiring may have short circuited.
0005: ACC3 OverCurrent, ACC3 connector wiring may have short circuited.
0006: DigitalIn OverCurrent, Digital input connector 1 or 2 wiring may have short circuited.
0012: USB Func(PC) Error, A USB communications error has occurred between the testing machine and computer.
0013: USB Memory Error(Read), Failed to read data from USB memory.
0014: USB Memory Error(Write), Failed to write data to USB memory.
0015: USB memory Shortage, Failed to write data to memory because of insufficient free space.
→Insert a new USB memory module.
0016: Inter Lock Alarm, Testing machine did not function due to external interlock input.
→Check for any interlock inputs.
0018: Pump Off, Hydraulic pump did not start up.
→Push a Pump Preparation On switch and start up hydraulic pump.
Click here for "(UH) Starting and Stopping the Machine".
0020: Over Rating Alarm, Sensor measurement value exceeded 102% of rated capacity.
→Use the manual dial to reduce the measurement value below 102% of rated capacity. If auto zeroing has not been performed, perform auto zeroing.
Click here for "(UH) Adjusting the Zero Point of the Test Force (Auto Zero)".
0021: Under Rating Alarm, Sensor measurement value exceeded negative 102% of rated capacity.
→Use the manual dial to increase the measurement value above 102% of rated capacity. If auto zeroing has not been performed, perform auto zeroing.
Click here for "(UH) Adjusting the Zero Point of the Test Force (Auto Zero)".
0022: Soft Limit Alarm, Sensor measurement value is outside specified software limit range.
→Use the manual dial to make sure the measurement value is within the software limit range or switch the software limit mode OFF. If auto zeroing has not been performed, perform auto zeroing.
Click here for "(UH) Adjusting the Zero Point of the Test Force (Auto Zero)".
0023: Out of Control, Stroke speed exceeded 500 mm/min during automatic control mode, or automatic control parameter was determined incorrectly.
→Confirm the condition of the specimen and make sure the specimen was chucked properly.
0024: Touch Load Alarm, Touch Detection Error
→An emergency stop will occur if a change in test force is detected during return movements or jog operations (safety feature).
For a description of safety featu res or instructions on how to disable them, see instraction manual.
0030: Cal Cable Error(Read), Error occurred reading data from the CAL cable.
0031: Cal Cable Error(Write), An error occurred writing data via the CAL cable.
0033: Auto Zero Error, An Auto Zero error occurred.
→Execute Auto Zero repeatedly 2 to 3 times. If the zero point is not adjusted by doing so, the pressure cell may be defective, or an system error occurred.
0034: F-CAL Error, An error occurred in the actual test f orce calibration.
→Check that the calibrated test force range and the amplifier are correct.
0035: E-CAL Make Error, An E-CAL signal generation error occurred.
0036: E-CAL Error, Error occurred when executing E-CAL.
0037: Linearize Error, Error occurred executing the linearization function.
0038: Calibration Error, Error occurred calibrating analog input.
→Make sure voltage input properly to the connector of analog input and analog measurement value is displayed properly.
0039: E-CAL Non Execution Alarm, Test force was not E-calibrated after switching power ON.
→Confirm the test force polarity , then execute E-CAL function.
Click here for "(UH) Electronic Calibration (E-CAL)".
0050: Power Voltage Error, Voltage error occurred in internal power supply.
→Make sure power supply is stable. Remove load cells, displacement gauges, analog output cables, ACC cables, USB memory modules and other such connected devices, then switch the main switch OFF and ON. If an error still occurs, contact
a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
0051: USB memory OverCurrent, Overcurrent error occurred in the USB memory module.
0060: Parameter Error(1), Error occurred in parameter settings for single test or cycle test.
→Confirm the test conditions.
0061: Parameter Error(2), Error occurred in parameter settings for performance standards test, strain test, or stroke test.
→Confirm the test conditions.
0080: Over Stroke Limit Alarm, The over stroke limit switch was turned ON.
→Turn on the return button and lowering the table.
0081: Hydraulic unit Alarm, The alarm is activated in hydraulic unit.
0082: CrossHead Alarm, The alarm is activated in crosshead.
9999: System Error
