DetAPCn ECDG valve not completely closed[Error Code:2160 2161 2162 2163]

The detector gas flow supplied from the bypass line is unstable, or there is a leak inside the ECD gas control valve of the APC for the detector.

Answer

Close the knob of the bypass unit of ECD totally with the ECD gas flow set off. Then, check whether the ECD gas flow on the monitor decreases. 
When the ECD gas flow on the monitor decreases to less than 1 mL/min, turn the knob on the bypass unit to readjust the sweep gas flow so that the ECD gas flow on the monitor reads 5 to 10 mL/min.
 
If the ECD gas flow on the monitor does not decrease to less than 1 mL/min, the hardware may have failed.
Turn off the main power of the instrument, stop gas supply, and contact your Shimadzu sales/service representative.
