6-port valve does not rotate to the correct positions.

 

«Countermeasure»

Please perform actions using the following procedures.
(1) Check that the rotor seal has not exceeded its service life.
- If it has, replace it with a new rotor seal.
(2) Disassemble the valve and clean it.
- Due to mobile phase contaminants or sample impurities, the torque necessary for valve rotation may increase excessively. Remove these contaminants by disassembling the valve and cleaning it. (If any scratches are found on the rotor seal surface, replace it with a new rotor seal.)
If the error is not corrected after performing the actions above, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
