(LCMS) MS Check
(LCMS-2050) MS Check
To check the instrument status, use the sub-interface to run an MS check. To check for any problems in the instrument, it is recommended that an MS check is run in any of the following cases:
• When the vacuum system has been stopped in order to carry out maintenance inside the instrument
• When the instrument has not been operated for an extended period of time
• When the instrument does not operate properly
• When the instrument has not been operated for an extended period of time
• When the instrument does not operate properly
NOTE: The amount of mass axis deviation may fluctuate for a while after starting the vacuum system of the instrument, particularly for high mass (generally m/z 1,000 or more), and the MS check may fail. In such a case, perform the MS check after the instrument is sufficiently stable. It is recommended that you run the MS check after the time specified below has elapsed.
