(SMX-6010) Performing Flat Panel Detector Calibration

Answer

Flat panel detector calibration is a function for reducing unevenness and noise in the image.
Perform calibration if unevenness or noise in the image becomes noticeable during instrument use.
The time required for flat panel detector calibration ([Advanced]) is approximately five minutes.
NOTE: Use this function in administrator mode.
  Click here for "(SMX-6010) Switching to Administrator Mode".
 
1. Display the [Detector Calibration] window.
  1) Click the [Manage] tab.
  2) Click [Detector Calibration].
  
 
2. Select the calibration type.
  1) Click [Simple] or [Advanced].
    • [Simple]: Performs flat panel detector calibration at the set tube voltage.
    • [Advanced]: Performs flat panel detector calibration at all tube voltages that can be set.
  2) Click [Start].
  
  Flat panel detector calibration starts.
 
3. When flat panel detector calibration is complete, click [OK].
  
  If necessary, observe the sample and check that unevenness and noise on the image have disappeared.
