Answer

This is a high-pressure fixed-discharge type hydraulic unit incorporating a high-pressure type gear pump. It mainly consists of a hydraulic pump, a pump motor, and a controller. The unit also includes a 10-μm ABS filter for the protection of the electro-hydraulic servo valve.
 
Note that the maintenance of this hydraulic unit requires good knowledge on the hydraulic systems. If you are unfamiliar with the maintenance procedures described in this manual, please contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
