(UH) Checking of the emergency stop equipment

Answer

Before using this machine, please check the emergency stop equipment. If this machine didn’t work in the undermentioned check, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
 
1. Start the hydraulic pump for loading.
  Click here for "(UH) Starting and Stopping the Machine".
 
2. Push the emergency stop button on the measurement controller.
 
3. The hydraulic pump for loading runs down and LCD displays a error message.
 
4. In this situation, push the UP/DOWN switch of the lower crosshead and confirm that lower crosshead wouldn’t work.
 
5. Turn the emergency stop button to release. Press the [OK] key on the alarm display.
