(UH) Repositioning the Upper Crosshead
The column is provided with stepped narrow portions, so that you can adjust the upper crosshead position by detaching and then reattaching the upper crosshead fixture and set ring to the desired step. Although the following is the procedure for raising the upper crosshead, it is also applicable to lowering the upper crosshead.
