FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

CAUTION: When starting program, the X-Y stage returns to an original position. So, lower the stage so as not to damage an indenter before starting program.

 

1. Lower then stage so as not to damage an indenter and lens.
2. Turn on the personal computer and wait until Windows starts up.
3. Turn on the controller and the motor controller box for the electric X-Y stage.
4. Start up the DUH menu program by the DUH icon.
5. Click Test button, then the test program starts up.
6. The program for the electric X-Y stage starts up at the same time and the [Stage] window is displayed.

  

7. Because the above message appears, press the [OK] button after confirming the movement of the stage doesn’t damage anything.
8. The electric X-Y stage starts moving, and it moves to the original position (In front of the left hand).

  CAUTION: If the emergency stop sets to ON (or it is not connected), the alarm appears.
