Answer

1. Looking through the objective lens with the lower magnification, adjust the lens until the sample indentation is in focus.
2. Switch to the other objective lens. If the lens is out of focus, adjust it as follows.
3. Remove the lens cover. The adjustment ring will be visible. (Switch back to the low magnification objective lens before removing the lens
cover.)
  
4. Check that the lower magnification objective lens is in focus. Then switch back to the other objective lens, and rotate the adjustment ring to bring the lens into focus.
5. When the lens is in focus, attach the lens cover. Next, perform the procedure in "Centering the Indentation".
