1. Cleaning part
  (1) Sheet copper connected with RF coil and the connecting part
  (2) Connecting part of this sheet copper and matching-Box. And the circumference of them.
  (3) All of "torch support plate" where plasma torch is fixed.

  

 

2. Cleaning method
  1) Dampen cotton with ethanol (or isopropanol).
  2) Wipe dust, etc. with wet cotton.
  3) Leave it until ethanol (or isopropanol) that remains in each part dries (about ten minutes)

 

NOTE: The malfunction electric discharge might be generated in the vicinity of the RF coil though it is very rare when the plasma lights due to the deterioration of parts in the plasma stand and dirt, etc. When the malfunction electric discharge is generated, the plasma is automatically turned off. Please clean the inside of the stand, and light the plasma again.

 

NOTE: Please contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative when the malfunction electric discharge happens frequently even if you maintain the above-mentioned.
