The syringe may be dismounted for cleaning of its inside wall using the following procedure.

1. Remove the rinse liquid intake tube from the rinse liquid bottle and repeat the rinse procedure (press the F10 key) several times while the tube is exposed to air to expel the liquid from the flow path.
2. Loosen and remove the plunger holder. Then turn the syringe by hand to detach it.
3. After pulling out the plunger, place the syringe in a stream of tap water.
4. Then, soak the syringe in the rinse liquid for a few hours to 24 hours as necessary.
5. Again place the syringe in a stream of tap water and finally rinse the inside with distilled water.
6. If contaminants and PTFE scrap adhere to PTFE tip at the head of the plunger extracted, clean these off by lightly applying a fingernail to the tip and rotating the plunger with the other hand.
