The actual current passing through the suppressor cartridge did not reach the preset value one minute after the start of regeneration.
«Countermeasure»
The suppressor cartridge may have become degraded. Replace the cartridge.
In the case of ICDS, the following can be considered.
• Several days of storage with the supplied sealing parts installed can cause the error Inject pure water with a syringe or deliver the mobile phase to the suppressor for approximately 10 seconds and then synchronize the current with the pump.
• When the suppressor is left unused, the inside of the suppressor will dry and prevent current flow, resulting in an error.
• When the suppressor is left unused, the inside of the suppressor will dry and prevent current flow, resulting in an error.
• Turning on the suppressor without passing liquid through it causes the generated hydrogen and oxygen to fill the suppressor, which prevents current flow and results in an error.
• Continuing passing liquid through the suppressor with the pump synchronization off (i.e. without powering on the suppressor) causes the ion exchange membranes of the suppressor to be saturated with sodium ion, which results in the suppressor voltage error next time the suppressor operates with the pump synchronization on.
• Check if the suppressor cable is connected to the suppressor power supply.
