«Main Cause»
Metering pump home position error has occurred.
 
«Countermeasure»
Remedy this problem referring to the following procedure. Check if the plunger seal has reached its service life. Replace the plunger seal if it has reached its service life. The torque required for turning the valve sometimes increases due to foreign objects in the rinse solution and impurities in the sample. Remove these foreign matters by disassembling and cleaning the valve. At this time, replace scratched seals with new seals. If the above procedure does not remedy the problem, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
