Error Code:[0x0013] ERR HPV HOME

Error Message: The home position of the 6-way valve failed to detection.

Answer

«Main Cause»
Rotation of 6-port valve motor was faulty.
 
«Countermeasure»
Remedy this problem referring to the following procedure.
(1) Check if the rotor seal has reached its service life. Replace the rotor seal if it has reached its service life.
(2) Disassemble and clean. The torque required for turning the valve sometimes increases due to foreign objects in the mobile phase and impurities in the sample. Remove these foreign matters by disassembling and cleaning the valve. (At this time, replace scratched seals with new seals.)
If the above procedure does not remedy the problem, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
