(EDX) The quantitative values of PbLα and PbLβ1 are significantly different.
I am performing a RoHS analysis with the EDX. Pb (lead)is quantitated using both the PbLα and PbLβ1 analysis lines.
Yet the results when a sample is analyzed are: PbLα: 1,910ppm, PbLβ1: 417ppm.
Look at the profile, and check the peaks.
• Confirm the PbLα(10.55keV) and PbLβ1(12.62keV) peak intensity ratio.
→ PbLα : PbLβ1 ≒ 1 : 1 (normal)
• If PbLα intensity is not equal to PbLβ1 intensity
There is a possibility that interfering elements are included.
→ Common case:
PbLα > PbLβ1: As(Kα: 10.53keV) is contained.
