When performing a Fourier transform on a finite interval of data, computational noise is likely to occur due to discontinuities in the data at both ends, and the noise is especially visible at high absorbance peak tops. An apodization function such as SqrTriangle allows the data at both ends to converge to zero, thus reducing the chance of such noise. Change the apodization function to an appropriate one.
