Cause 1: Does noise appear in the form of concentric circles?
Corrective Measures 1: Click the [Calibration] button in the instrument settings area of the CT software inspeXio64 to perform calibrate the air settings.

Cause 2: Is the image blurry because of center oscillation?
Corrective Measures 2: Click the [Calibration] button in the instrument settings area of the CT software inspeXio64 to calibrate the center of rotation.

Cause 3: Do the defect pixels such as white dots or black dots appear on the live image?
Corrective Measures 3: Click the [Edit Defect Calibration Data]button in the Manager Setting window of CT software inspeXio64 to edit the defect calibration data.

Cause 4: Is there a double image of the sample shape in CT images?
Corrective Measures 4: Make sure the sample is not moving during CT scans.
Cause 5: Is the CT image brightness settings set too bright or too dark?
Corrective Measures 5: Select an appropriate scaling coefficient.
Cause 6: Is the cooling fan on the back of the FPD unit stopped?
Corrective Measures 6: Contact your system manager to have the cooling fan replaced by a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
