This content is not applied to LCMS-9030.
Protective functionality is available for automatically switching OFF the detector if too many ions enter the detector.
It can be enabled or disabled by following the procedure.
On the [Tools] menu in the [Data Acquisition] window, click [Options] and click the [Protection] tab.

To enable the detector protection function, select the [The detector turns off automatically when the signal to it is saturated.] checkbox.
