Answer
LC parameter settings can be loaded from a method file used for a previous system configuration, such as after changing only the MS model of an LC + MS system.
If a previously configured method file is loaded in a new environment, then automatically only the parameter settings applicable in the new environment are loaded.
HINT: If the MS model was changed, then MS parameter settings are reinitialized without being reused. (ex.: LCMS-2020 changed to LCMS-2050)
However, some settings are reused if both systems are LCMS-80XX models.
