If you cannot solve this problem by checking possible causes and taking appropriate actions described below, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
Cause1: The external alarm is working.
Action1: Reset the external device to cancel the alarm output.

Cause2: The polarity of the external input is different.
Action2: If the alarm cannot be cleared even after resetting the external device, restart the controller while holding down the [CLEAR] and [CANCEL] keys of the controller. Initialize the external input settings (set to normal open).
*The digital input settings are also initialized (OFF setting) at the same time.

Cause3: Alarm input is set for digital input.
Action3: Reset the external device or change the digital input settings.
