Category :

Answer

The electronic calibration (E-CAL) is required once per day before the daily startup of the testing machine. Even so, this calibration must be done immediately, if you have replaced the pressure cell or load cell.

CAUTION:
  • The test-force calibration should be made only when the testing system has become stable, that is approx. 15 minutes or later after the startup of the testing machine.
  • Before executing the test-force calibration, make sure that no load is applied.
  • The test-force calibration should be made in the position where the table is raised about 10mm from its lowest position.
  • Failure to do so could cause malfunction of the testing machine, leading to injury.

1. Press the control mode selector key to set to the Manual mode. While in the Manual mode, the control mode selector key lights.
2. If the table is in the lowest position, by turning the load control knob toward [OPEN], raise the table approx. 10mm from the value displayed on the LCD display.
3. When the table has been raised approx. 10mm, turn the load control knob to [HOLD].

4. Press the control mode selector to set to the Automatic mode. When in the Automatic mode, the light of the control mode selector turns OFF.
5. Touch the [E-CAL] button on the message.

6. The confirmation window appears. Touch [Yes]. Start calibration. The E-CAL program will take approx. 30 seconds to complete. When the calibration has been completed, the message window is closed, and the Monitor screen appears.

NOTE: [RETURN]key is no effect while the confirmation window is on. If you return the table to the original position, after touch the [No]key on the confirmation window, push the [RETURN] key.
