If the shape of the indentation is abnormal as shown in below, the indenter attachment is malfunctioning or is improperly adjusted. In this
case, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
 
 
The indentation shape shown in below, can occur if the sample surface is not mounted horizontally. In this case, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
