Answer

Configure the settings for the PDF and CSV files that are output, and configure the printer settings.

NOTE: When [User Authentication] on the [System Policy] screen is “Enabled,” the following operations are only available to an Administrator or a Main user level user. These operations are not available to User or Guest level users.

1. Press  - [Settings].

2. Press [Reports].

  The settings screen appears.
(1) [PDF Paper Size]: Set the PDF page size. Select [A4] or [Letter].
(2) [PDF Punch]: Set the position of the margin to have on the PDF. Select [Left], [Center], or [Upper].
  • [Left] and [Upper] create margins on the respective sides. Select one of these options if the printed PDF is to be punched.
  • The [Center] option creates a PDF file without having a margin for punch holes.
(3) [CSV Format]: Set the delimitation format for saving the report as a CSV-format text file. Select [Comma] or [Tab].
(4) [Runtime Report]: Set whether or not to output a runtime report. A runtime report is a report automatically output from the printer for every measurement.
Use the button to switch between Disable and Enable.
(5) [Print Test]: Press this button to test print using the current settings.
NOTE: The optional printer is necessary to use this function.
(6) [Apply]: Press this button to confirm the settings.
(7) [Cancel]: Press this button to discard any changes made to the settings.

This section describes how to configure settings for the files that are output to the USB flash drive and the files that are sent to the PC by LIMS/LabSolutions function.

2. [For [PDF Punch], set the position of the punch holes.
3. Specify the delimiter character for CSV files.
  Select tab-separated or comma-separated format.
