Answer

The operating status changes to [Warning], and  is displayed.
 
Press [OK] to return to the original screen.
 
• SAMPLE WATER: Sample liquid level is low.
  →Make sure that the sample liquid is flowing into the TOC-1000e from the online port. *1
 
• BATTERY: Battery needs replacement.
 
• BOARD TEMP.: The temperature inside the chamber of the instrument is outside of the rated operating range.
  →Adjust the temperature around the instrument to be within the rated operating range. *1
 
• SAMPLE TEMP.: The temperature of the sample liquid is outside of the rated operating range.
  →Adjust the temperature of the sample liquid to be within the rated operating range. *1
 
• PRINTER(OFFLINE): Printer is offline.
  →Check whether the printer is turned on. Check the printer connection. *1*2
 
• PRINTER(PAPER OUT): The printer is out of paper.
  →Check whether the printer has paper. *1*2

• EXCIMER LAMP(EXCHANGE): Reactor needs replacement.
  →Turn off the power to the instrument and replace the reactor.

• PUMP(EXCHANGE): Pump head needs replacement.
  →Turn off the power to the instrument and replace the pump head.

• STORAGE OVER 80%: The instrument’s storage capacity usage has reached 80 %.
  →Contact your Shimadzu representative.
 
• REACTOR COVER: Lamp cover of the reactor is open.
  →Open the front panel of the instrument and check whether the lamp cover of the reactor is closed. *1
 
*1: Alarms are automatically cleared once the cause is removed.
*2: Instrument alarms that are triggered by a problem with the printer are not printed from the printer even when the runtime report function is enabled.
 
[Checking Whether an Instrument Alarm Has Been Cleared]
1. Press  at the top left of the screen.
  
2. Select the [Instrument Alarm] tab.
  
Instrument alarms cannot be cleared manually. Perform the above actions to remove the cause.
Some instrument alarms are automatically cleared once the cause is removed.
