Answer
When a high concentration sample is analyzed, some of the sample may adhere to the purge tube. If the tube becomes heavily contaminated, remove the purge tube and clean off the contamination using alcohol. If the tube is chipped or cracked, replace it with a new one.
WARNING: There is a risk of burn injury. Do NOT start work inside the plasma stand for 3 minutes after the plasma is extinguished.
1. Remove the purge tube by referring to Cleaning the Entrance Window

NOTE: Do NOT remove the positioning plate.
Changing the position where it is set will adversely affect the reproducibility of the analytical values and make normal analysis no longer possible.

2. Clean or replace the purge tube.
