(ICPE) Waste Tank

Answer

Be sure to use a chemically resistant waste tank because approx. 1 mL/min of sample is discharged from the sample introduction system of the plasma stand after plasma is ignited. Alternatively, use the optional " DRAIN TANK, PLASTIC 10LT (parts number: 210-15534)" waste tank.
Place the waste tank as close to the plasma stand as possible. Ensure that waste liquid flows smoothly through the drain tube and that the end of the drain tube is put in the waste tank but not immersed in the waste liquid. Be sure to check the amount of waste liquid in the waste tank before use to prevent an overflow during use.
After use, close the cover of the waste tank or dispose of waste liquid promptly. If waste liquid is left in the waste tank with the cover open for a long time, out-gassing may cause corrosion around the waste tank.

NOTE: Dispose of waste in accordance with your country's laws and regulations.
