(EDX) In standard sample analysis, there was a large deviation from the standard value.

I am performing a RoHS analysis with the EDX.
Recently, the Cd quantitative value for an unknown sample was strange, so a confirmation analysis was performed using a standard sample, but the result differed significantly from the standard value.
What should I do?

Answer

Do you perform drift correction?
If you are using a calibration curve from a few years ago, it is better to revise the calibration curve.

May I have your opinion?
