(AA) ASC, Rinsing the ASC Nozzle Flow Path

(AA) Rinsing the ASC Nozzle Flow Path (ASC-7800/7000)
Category :

Answer

Contamination of the inside wall of the PTFE tube, the inside wall of the syringe, the plunger tip and liquid contact surfaces of the solenoid valve are likely to cause formation of bubbles inside the flow path. Once bubble formation occurs on the inside of the solenoid valve and plunger tip, they sometimes cannot easily be removed. In this case, clean the flow path using the following procedure.

1. Fill the rinse liquid bottle with surfactant (approx. 5% to 10%) and press the [RINSE] (F10) button.
2. The rinse liquid supply pump operates and feeds the rinse liquid. Repeat this about 10 times.
3. Completely remove the surfactant from the rinse liquid bottle.
4. Aspirate the remaining surfactant inside the rinse port with a dropper, etc.
5. Fill the rinse liquid bottle with distilled water and press the [RINSE] (F10) button.
6. The rinse liquid supply pump operates and feeds the rinse liquid. Repeat this about 10 times.
