Error Code:[0x5215] FATAL NEEDLE PROTECTED

Error Message: Autosampler: Excessive force was applied when the needle descended. Check the needle drop position for obstacles.

Answer

«Main Cause»
The needle cannot be lowered because an obstruction other than the sample vial or injection port was detected.
 
«Countermeasure»
Switch the instrument power OFF and check inside the instrument for something obstructing the needle. If that does not resolve the error, contact a Shimadzu sales or service representative.
