(ICPE) How should rinse time be determined?

There are two types of rinse: solvent rinse and sample rinse.
The appropriate rinse time depends on the sample properties (element concentration, viscosity, specific gravity, etc.), the solvent rinse solution (pure water, acids, etc.), whether a peristaltic pump is used, and the length of the sample introduction tube.

When determining the rinse time, consider the following methods.
